Music Monday's/New In Pieces

With precisely 40 minutes left to Monday as I write this, I introduce this Monday's music:

I've been playing this song on loop. Even better than the first song I heard from them: I'm His Girl. Don't you just love it...even though it's so obvious 'pretentious hipster walking around Urban Outfitters' music.

Thought I'd also show some new pieces to my wardrobe...well snippets of them - hopefully they'll be featuring in OOTD's pretty soon...maybe not the camo jacket...I'm not so sure what to do about the camo jacket haha!
Stripey Navy Midi Skirt - my oldest sister, Asli, gave it to me
Levis Denim Cut Offs - gift from zee boyfriend
Camo jacket -  Cadets at school (don't laugh) - thought I'd whip it out the attic after 6 years + cut off the sleeves
Spiked double finger ring - given by Farah
Evil Eye Studs - gift from my sister Esra from her trip to Istanbul

...and finally, I thought I'd just show you the waffles Farah made for breakfast on Thursday...just because they look just as good as they tasted :)

Hope you enjoyed this week's Music Monday and enjoy the rest of the week!

Music Mondays

I really do find out about good music really late.
Anyway, this song is so pretty :) a bit like Laura Marling (but not as annoying and more catchy)

I am such a lazy blogger I know, I had a lot of essays and uni work recently so have been stressed out with them...but now they are done, hopefully I can blog more.

I'm having a clean out of my wardrobe, selling my stuff so I can buy new stuff :)
If you want to check out what I'm selling (I will keep adding more items) here's the link Eda's eBay

Have a lovely week and hope you enjoy this Monday's music!

Music Mondays

Today it shall be the lady who has sparked much controversy: Lana Del Rey. I frankly don't care whether she has had work done on her face to be sexier, or has a complete overhaul on her original look to be more appealing to the music world. Performing and music is turning into an art form now, with examples like Lady Gaga wearing her outrageous outfits, so we should all leave Lana alone right? Who cares if her daddy is a millionnaire and is the only reason she is now successful, her songs and her look are beautiful and original, so who cares how and why she rose to fame?

I sound like I'm her number one fan, supporting her from the very beginning...but...to be honest I only started listening to her this past week.
I have always heard her name be mentioned as a 'rising star' and I knew I should have a listen, but being my lazy self, I couldn't be bothered. It wasn't until my friend Alicia mentioned her and started playing the songs in the flat, I realised that Lana Del Rey is actually amazing. Haha. I have heard the song Video Games in so many programmes like Gossip Girl and I was always like 'I like this song, I wonder who sings it...' but forgetting to find out...but now I know.
So to celebrate the launch of her album today 'Born to Die', I thought I would make her my Music Monday pick.

Enjoy!

Revision Insanity - Music Mondays

Sorry I've been such a terrible blogger recently, but I have been revising for exams, working and developing the most disgusting cough known to man.
So yup I have been pretty stressed but I am incredibly happy as my wee little blog has 52 followers now! Thanks to everyone who takes the time to read my blog, your comments make me smile :)
Once the exams are over I will be posting more outfit of the days and more frequently.
However for now I will share a quite different song for this week's Music Monday's...different being that it's not Drake (I cannot help how much I love him) and it's a Turkish artist: Teoman.
Enjoy! I hope it's good even if you cannot understand the Turkish.

p.s. Has anyone else been to the new Edinburgh Primark?! It's huuuuge!
