Seven Autumn Wishes
1. Fake Fur Collar - H&M
Whilst I cannot afford a new coat for this season, I thought to 'spice up' my old ones this collar would be perfect.
2. Touch of Silver Shampoo - Boots
Having recently ombré-d my hair I want to protect the colour. I was recommend a silver shampoo by my flatmate, Lucy. This seems to be the cheapest and best reviewed one, so next time I'm in Boots I will snap it up.
3. Mini Spike Choker Necklace - ASOS
I'm lacking in the short silver necklace department - this is just what I have been looking for. It looks great for layering or on it's own.
4. Millie Shirt - Monki
For those days when I've overslept, I want this to throw on with jeans and run to lectures.
5. Allyson Geek Tee in Black - Missguided
I don't usually like tops with bold words on them, especially ones that everyone is buying (the Topshop version sold out so quickly) but this one I actually like...probably because I am actually a geek.
6. Navy Velvet Skater Skirt - Topshop
This skirt would be perfect for the day with a white shirt and boots or for the night with a crop top and my heeled creepers.
7. Black Zipped Heeled Boots - H&M
I'm currently wearing my old H&M Chelsea boots that are way past their sell by date as they are ripped all over the place. These ones are definitely in the affordable price range and all my past H&M boots have lasted over 2 years, so I know I can trust this pair too.
I hope you like! What is your favourite item? What's on your wishlist this October?

Glasgow + Music
The boyfriend and I took a trip to Glasgow for our two year anniversary and it was so lovely. We ate lots, looked a crazy modern art and explored the beautiful architecture of the city whilst browsing through the shopping streets.
I'm the typical tourist, I take photos of all the pretty buildings I see even if I haven't gone inside them, I hope you like my random snaps.
As today is Monday, I thought I'll bring back Music Monday's. As you may have heard The xx have returned...finally, with the album Coexist. I have been waiting for the second album for a looooong time, even though I never got bored of the first one. I'm always a bit dubious to listen to an new album in full so I kept repeating Angels for a few days, until today I left the album playing as I got ready for uni and one song really stood out to me. This song 'Try' is just perfect, a bit odd, but still perfect...sadly they've banned all recordings of it on Youtube :(
If you'd like to listen to it please follow this link to hear it: LISTEN HERE
Hope you all are having a good Monday!

My Balayage Ombré experience
Well it's been a while since I've blogged...sorry about that, been busy with uni things and settling into my new flat...however I want to start regularly posting from now on, so please keep reading my blog :)
Yesterday I finally took the plunged and went to get my hair ombré-d (is that even a term?)
I wanted the balayage look seen on many celebrities such as Lily Aldridge and Rachel Bilson, however I knew this look would not be the do-it-yourself ombré if I wanted it done well and I was due a hair cut as well.
So I booked an appointment at Medusa hair salon South Clerk Street in Edinburgh and safe to say I love it (how vain is that haha?!)
My colourist and senior stylist Leigh understood what I wanted and told me it would suit me, which was a relief! Yet she told me it's best I kept the colour at the ends and underneath the tops of my head instead of at the fronts, otherwise the roots would come up badly quickly and it'd look too streaky if I tied it up. I felt my hair was safe in her hands especially as she told me I didn't have to use bleach as it was the first time I've dyed my hair. I also got my hair cut by stylist Calvin, I went for a little chop with some long layers to emphasise the colour more. Most of the hairdressers I've been to before just give me a rough blow dry without asking me how I'd like it to save them time but this time creative director Lynn asked me how I wanted it and took the time to wave my hair exactly how I wished for it to look.
The whole thing took quite a while, I think I was in there from 1.30pm to 4.45pm but it was definitely a Friday afternoon well spent. I'm not a typical girly girl but I really enjoyed sitting having my hair 'beautified'. All the team who worked on my hair were so lovely yet professional and I'd definitely recommend Medusa to everyone. I made a great 40% off saving with the student Snapfax, the whole thing should have cost £104.50 but it cost me £62.70...true this is extremely pricey still but I always said if I was going to have my hair dyed I wanted it done professionally.
Sooo what do you think?? The colour doesn't show that much in these webcam photos but I hope you get the jist:
The colour on the back photo is the colour that's been used but it doesn't show up as much in the other photos, I like that it's not the stark bleach blonde but a more caramel highlight to my brunette hair.
What do you think? Hope you like?

Excuse the bed head styling but the colour shows up the best here. |

Summer days OOTD
The weather has been so lovely in Essex this week, finally had a chance to embrace the summery items in my wardrobe (they make up like 2% of my wardrobe, that's just how unsummery I am)
As you can probably tell from my previous OOTDs, I'm not a colourful person at all. I don't know what was wrong with me today, I must have been in a good mood or something, but I'm wearing colour! Went to meet my boyfriend and he was so surprised I was not wearing even ANY BLACK! Hahaha!
Yet again it's pretty casual and easy outfit as I hate complicated 'overdone' outfits in the heat.
Who needs a tripod or a photographer when you can just use self-timer on your post box/window sills eh? Ha!
Apologies for looking really moody in these photos - I'm not, I just still haven't learnt how to pose especially facially.
Pleated Jersey Maxi Skirt - Primark
Navy + White Stripe Top - Monki
Gladitor Sandals (which I hate because the straps slide around, but they're are the only flat sandals I own) - Primark
Brown Snakeprint Bag - H&M
Sunglasses - H&M
Rings on right hand - borrowed from my oldest sister
Snake ring (Primark), Spike ring (Miss Selfridge)
Arrow necklace - Miss Selfridge
Hope you like!
Would also like to say thanks to all my readers, followers and those who take the time to comment! I really really love you guys. I get so overly excited whenever I see a new comment or follower. I'm so happy to be at 105 followers now, huge deal for me! I remember when I was so pleased at having 10 followers, when I saw it went over 100 the other day I literally squealed out loud. Thank you so so much :)

Music Monday and Wish List
1. Model's Own - Indian Ocean

4. Topshop Alexy Platform Chelsea Boots
5. Monki Crista Trousers
6. Topshop Lipstick - Inhibition
7. Topshop Mini Roller Hat
8. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Hot Cloth Cleanser
9. Monki Elise Dress
For my Music Monday this week I was inspired by the music on Youtuber Clothes Encounters. I love her style videos and her L.A lifestyle makes me so jealous. So thanks to Jenn, I have found this song as well as a new great band...and now I'm sharing it with y'all :)
So enjoy!
Hope you like my wish list, what is your favourite item?
Also if you have any music recommendations, I'd love to hear them!!

Leather Jacket - Topshop
Black Sheer Shirt - H&M
Stripey Tee - Monki
Levi's Hotpants - YMCA Charity Shop Harlow
Boots - Urban Outfitters

Music Monday's/New In Pieces
With precisely 40 minutes left to Monday as I write this, I introduce this Monday's music:
I've been playing this song on loop. Even better than the first song I heard from them: I'm His Girl. Don't you just love it...even though it's so obvious 'pretentious hipster walking around Urban Outfitters' music.
Thought I'd also show some new pieces to my wardrobe...well snippets of them - hopefully they'll be featuring in OOTD's pretty soon...maybe not the camo jacket...I'm not so sure what to do about the camo jacket haha!
Hope you enjoyed this week's Music Monday and enjoy the rest of the week!

Spiked double finger ring - given by Farah Evil Eye Studs - gift from my sister Esra from her trip to Istanbul |
...and finally, I thought I'd just show you the waffles Farah made for breakfast on Thursday...just because they look just as good as they tasted :) |
Hope you enjoyed this week's Music Monday and enjoy the rest of the week!

OOTD - handmade knit
Yesterday was the fourth class of the Buying & Merchandising course at LCF.
Went for a fairly casual layered look, this being crazy England and all [insert boring rant about the ever changing weather in England] you never know what to wear - so I thought I might as well layer up just in case...
Knitted jumper - handmade by my mother!!! Amazing right?!
Blue Silk shirt - originally my father's but given to me :)
...there's a trend here isn't there - taking things from other people!
Super skinny jeans - Primark
Leather jacket (which I'm just holding/sitting on ha...but yeh...) - Topshop
Chelsea boots + bag - H&M
Gold arrow chain + gun metal spike ring - Miss Selfridge
And there's a photo of my class buddy Farah looking lovelyyyy!
Farah's mum's vintage grey blazer
Topshop white tee
Zara bag...and...the amaaaazing Zara neon yellow necklace!
Anywayyyyy, that's all for now, thanks for all the comments on my last post and Hi new followers :)
Next week is my final week (boo hoo!) at the LCF course, so it'll be my final outfit - I'll try to make it more interesting haha!

Blue Jeans, White Shirt
I don't look 'fresh to death' though do I hahaha?!
Pretty basic outfit for Fashion school yesterday, I just like the rolled up jeans with my chelsea boots...however I've got much chubbier so it doesn't look as cool as it used to :(
I actually hadn't realised just how chub I'd got until I uploaded these photo - no more nutella on toast for me!
Blazer, White Shirt, Chelsea Boots, Bag - H&M Blue jeans - Primark
Bracelets - holidays/gifts from Turkey (got a while ago, I haven't just jumped on the evil eye trend...us Turks are so 'fashion forward' pa-ha-ha
Cross ring - gift from the boyfriend
Other rings + silver choker - Miss Selfridge
Hope you like! Sorry for the H&M binge on this outfit...

More Monki lovin'
Well it's been quite a while hasn't it?
I kind of lost track of the whole blogging world, but I definitely want to come back to it...especially now I have the internet at home (FINALLY joined the modern world)
So what have I been up to this 'summer'?
The most exciting thing: started a Fashion Buying & Merchandising short course at...THE LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION (cool right?)...with my homeboy Farah haha!
I'm really really enjoying it, especially learning about how to be a buyer - I think I've finally found my dream career!
Sadly only 3 sessions left! From this week I'll hopefully start taking outfit of the days for the remaining sessions, as the days I go to the course are the only days I 'dress up'...aside from that, all I've really been doing is sitting in my room in ugly baggy leggings and oversized shirts selling things on eBay like crazyyyy to make some monies.
Please check out the link to my eBay HERE
Hope there's something you'll like, there's a range of goodies (lots of Topshop + vintage) I've found around my house that don't fit me/my family anymore at very low prices.
Also, last week before going to the course I had a little window shopping session with Farah, finally got to check out the Monki on Carnaby Street and I'm just so in love with the layout, it's so quirky and cute...just so Monki!
Here are some items I'm lusting after...
...I pretty much want the whole store but here's my top 8 picks for now! What are your faves?
Enjoy the Jubilee weekend everyone!

Edaburgh on Youtube
Hi everyone! It's been a long long time since I posted on here, I feel bad for not replying to the lovely comments I've been getting on here. I will get to them soon!
In the mean time, I've been wasting my revision breaks with the whole youtube style-vloggers community and I nervously made my very first video.
I know the quality is terrible, hopefully I can improve it. I actually quite enjoyed 'vlogging', so if you want to have a look, please check out the video below.
Thank yooooou :)

Missguided Wishes
Ok so Missguided is getting it so right at the moment! I'm loving so many pieces and as soon as I get some money, I would like to take these items of my wishlist and into my wardrobe.
Zeya Cream Suede Flatforms- £26.99 |
Gerlyn Drop Armhole Cross Vest - £13.99 |
Maurice White Sheer Pleated Shirt Dress- £27.99 |
Alysse Chain Print Shirt Dress - £24.99 |
Paella Studded Denim Shorts - £29.99 |
Romie Frayed Lilac Denim Shorts - £19.99 |
Shaeni Floral Cut Out Dress - £22.99 |
Believe me when I say this was the extremely edited wishlist! As reasonably as Missguided's pricing is, the extent of my list does not make the total amount reasonable at all!!!
I think my favourite has to be the flatforms. So pretty and I could still wear them comfortably around uni and not look like an awkward idiot who goes to uni in heels...because as much as I wish I could, I really don't have the 'swagger' to get away with wearing major heels to uni without people giving me like 'someone is overdressed for the library' glances.
The countdown to student finance payment day begins! Haha!

Old Photos
So I was going through my old email and I got a Flickr email update. I joined Flickr when I was 16/17 year old and going through that whole 'I'm a wannabe photographer with my digital camera' phase...we all go through it.
Anyway I found some I actually still like (modest aren't I? Haha) and I thought I'd share the two that were my favourite. The first of me, and the second of my oldest sister.
So thoughts? Shall I give up on the pretentious 16 year old 'dream' or shall I actually go out and buy a proper camera and starting taking photos again (and by photos I don't mean the regular drunken antics from nights out)?
Don't worry I'm not going to call myself a freelance photographer or pretend I actually know anything about photography, you can tell me my photos are crap if you like. For now it's just a hobby right.
Also does anyone have any SLR camera recommendations?
